The room was super clean which was great. It was also a large room. No kettle which was strange, but heated water on the stove top in a saucepan. The kitchen had most of the essentials. The bathroom had a shower over a bathtub and a sink. The balcony overlooking the pool on the 2nd floor was nice. We weren't there for long enough to see more, but overall a clean, comfortable affordable stay for 1 night. I didn't go in the pool, but it appeared nice and clean and a good size.

Can’t beat the price, location and ease of access. No frills or elevators to deal with, the Heritage is the best deal in Waikiki. It’s old, built in the 1950’s but well maintained to the best of their handymen’s and housekeeper’s abilities plus very nice gals working the front desk. Fort DeRussy beach is minutes away, busy Kalākaua, Royal Hawaiian Center, shopping and restaurants all at your fingertips. ABC store and CVS across the street……what more can you ask for!!

Wonderful location, nice ambiance and a pleasant staff. The fact that it’s not a skyscraper where you have to take an elevator every time you want to go to your room or leave to run to the ABC store is a major plus. A little slice of history with a one way street on one side and a huge park leading to the ocean just across the street on the other. Also has a pool and washers and dryers! A big help traveling ,so bring half as many clothes and trice as much money:)

For the price point, its the BEST value in waikiki. Its not touristy or up to the minute IG chic, but it is surgically clean, unintentionally retro ( you can feel its 1950s roots- we stayed in the saratoga side) and the beds were super comfortable. Amenities were nice, soundproofed bathrooms a plus. If you dont need over the top decor but good decent housing- this is it. And the staff was super helpful and friendly!!

The hotel offers free coffee from 7am until 11 am. It is conveniently located in the heart of Waikiki. You can easily walk from the hotel to main attractions like Waikiki and Kuhio Beach, Royal Hawaiian Center, Honolulu Zoo and the International Marketplace. However, it is 20-30 minutes away from the Airport, Aloha Stadium Swap meet and Pearl Harbor.
